Davis Lab takes on the 2023 Protein Society

The 2023 Protein Society meeting was attended by Caitlin Davis and lab members Marisa Barilla, Hannah Castillo, Brahmmi Patel and Ume Tahir. A highlight of the meeting was the Protein Society mixer "Night at the Museum" which included dancing and time to explore the museum exhibits.

Caitlin, Marisa, and Ume all had talks at the meeting and everyone also gave a poster!

Marisa and Hannah took the Protein Society trivia very seriously and won a new laptop for the lab!

First Annual Davis-Malaker Lab Bowling

To celebrate the end of the year and welcome new lab members the Davis and Malaker lab went bowling. The Davis Lab welcomed new members Marisa Barilla, Hannah Castillo, and Raibat Sarker. Some lanes were competitive, some lanes were more laid back, and we all had fun!

Sydney wins best oral presentation...

The lab participated in the 8th Annual Yale Biophysics and Structural Biology Symposium. Sydney Shuster gave an oral presentation that was selected as best oral presentation. Lab members Marisa Barilla, Michael Burke, Eddie Knab, and Lydia Tarekegn gave poster presentations.
